I have been on a serious 70s kick lately. Everything is hats and calico prints and earthy tones. When I found Mint Julep via a friend of a friend's Facebook post (you know how those go...) I was instantly hooked. New products daily! Constant posts! In your face with stuff you want to buy all the time! An online shopper's dream. They even ask their followers to vote on potential products! Crowd sourcing at its finest!
This maxi is my new favorite! I cannot wait for the weather to warm up enough so I can wear it every. single. day. It's easy, breezy, and beautiful *CoverGirl*

A few years ago, I went through a huge hippie phase. Lace, fringe, lots of denim, overloaded jewelry, the works. Then I went through a solid 1950s phase and other decades, etc. It feels like it is about time to be back into my late 60s/early 70s vibe. Maybe it's the heavy furs and suedes from the fall runways, or maybe it was this jacket from SoSis landing on my doorstep, but my head is stuck in the 70s. It could also be the Grateful Dead satellite radio station playing in my car, but that's neither here nor there.
When I was first introduced to Chelsey & Annie Claire from SoSis, I fell in love with their story. Sisters & BFFs building a brand together? Love! I have a lot of siblings, and as we get older and move apart, it gets harder and harder to make time for each other and connect. I love that these gals have found a way to stay connected for when life gets in the way. I first spotted this Mrs. Potter jacket at their pop-up shop event in December. I was hesitant to bring it home then without any ideas of how I would wear it. After thinking about it, though, my mind raced with ideas. I can't wait to wear it again when the weather warms up again... which in Louisiana could be by the end of the week.
