These photos are from a couple of weeks ago… I am so behind! For the Paris Parker Holiday Shopping Event, I wanted to be cute and festive, but still warm. Layering a colorful turtleneck or collared shirt under a swing dress is the easiest way to create a fun, warm look. This dress is an old faithful I found at Target years ago and I have worn it countless times! I love that the neckline is already jeweled so that, even on brain dead fashion days, I can still look good without a bunch of extra things clanking around my limbs.

I have a confession too… turtlenecks are kinda my love language. Ever since seeing My Fair Lady and the Leslie Ann Warren version of Cinderella, I have been obsessed with elongating my neck. Turtlenecks help me look more like my ideal giraffe length while also keeping me warm. And I hate being cold. All I had to do was add a little sass with a leopard swing coat and I was set for a fun night!

How do you keep warm and festive at the same time?

PS: I hope you had a great New Year and look forward to what TTS brings in 2014!
