Monochrome has been a consistent trend for the last few seasons and can be so much fun to play with! Whether you wear the same shade all over, switch up the saturation of the hues, or experimenting with textures, it is interesting to play with the look.

With this outfit, I chose to play with the saturation. If your shades are high contrast (i.e. light and dark), your best bet is to wear the lighter shade on top and the darker on bottom. This keeps the longer part of you, longer and the shorter part of your body, shorter. The combination of a cute peplum blouse and skinny pants hitting just at the ankle helps elongate the body as well. Though it won't actually make you taller, you will simply feel taller instantly!

What is your favorite way to take on the monochrome trend?

  1. I love your style. You come up with so many creative combinations. I will have to say my monochrome pink I wore for Valentines day must be my favorite.
