A Blast of Color

Due to the dreary weather we have been experiencing here, I needed a little color in my life. Normally, I wouldn't go all out like I did today, but the coral with the orange with the turquoise felt so luscious and I fell victim to the color fairy! I love how all three shades contrast, but still complement each other well. And the background grass is so green. It isn't even an exaggeration of editing. It's real... which means that spring is here!

Just because spring is here does not mean that I don't need a light sweater when I step outside. I am extremely cold natured [I would wear a parka in August if it were socially acceptable], so having lightweight sweaters and dresses are essential. This dress is super soft and lightweight, being easy to throw on and be comfortable whether I am inside or out. The coordinating asymmetrical neckline and hemline keep it from being too basic, though it is simple enough to become a wardrobe staple! I should also note that it is intended to be a blouse, but on a shawty like me, "blouse" equals "dress."

  1. Sassafrass! I LOVE THE BRIGHT COLORS, but why wouldn't I?
