Pleats & Pintucks

Breakdown: dress- Time Warp, belt & rings- thrifted, sandals- TJ Maxx

It was 70+ degrees today, y'all. That means bare legs and dresses for me! I found this dress a few months ago at Time Warp and haven't worn it before today. After seeing the cheesy movie, Monte Carlo, I desperately wanted a dress like Leighton Meester wore. I pinned a picture of it and fell more in envy until I found this one! After washing it and another similar dress, ironing the pintucks and pleats was tiring so it hung in my room untouched because I didn't want to wear it and mess it up. I tend to reject my ironed clothes because I don't want to iron them as many times as I would wear them. Do you do leave your must-be-ironed clothes alone just so you don't have to iron them? Tell me I'm not the only crazy one!

  2. I love this dress, and it does look like the dress Leighton Meester wore. So cute. :) I am the same way, but I'm a little bit worse. I won't even iron clothes that should be ironed, I'll just wear them out. :/ haha. I love the outfit though.
    Have a great new year!

  5. I totally understand about not wanting to mess up nice ironed clothes, although my dress collection remains altogether untouched
