Some days I look in my closet and am completely dissatisfied with everything in it. Other days I like everything and can't decide. And other days the weather dictates my outfit. That, my friends, is the worst. The absolutely worst. Tropical storm Lee (or did it turn into a hurricane at some point?) is still making it's way through and the rain is constant. We haven't lost electricity or cable/Internet so that's a positive note! I have spent the last 2 days in my pajamas watching TV listening to the wind and rain outside. So nice!

I came up with this outfit last night right before I went to bed. My dress is formal on its own so I added the cardigan to make it more casual. And the belts... let me explain the belts. You see, I am a compulsive belter. I belt everything. This morning I just could not figure out which one to wear, so I wore all of them! Perfect solution, I think. What? Like you've never worn 3 belts before out of indecisiveness.

  1. I'm not big on the stacking belts, but I bet it's going to be a huge trend. I've seen it a few other places and I think you look so cute!

I love that you dressed down the cocktail dress! I've done that before and it makes your closet so versatile!

  2. I've thought about wearing multiple belts before but have been a bit nervous about how it would turn out. You've inspired me to try it.

  3. HaHaHa Sarah! I know how you feel about TS Lee. I'm so ready for the rain to stop and sun to come out again. It's been a pajama weekend for me as well. Only lost power for 2 hours yesterday. So I feel lucky. Now getting to your outfit, I LOVE IT ALL! That's a great dress and I love the mustard sweater with it. I love the 3 belts with it. I think you've started a great fashion trend! It totally works and you've given me a great idea. Cute shoes too! Excellent post!

  5. If compulsive belting is wrong, I don't want to be right.

I'm not sure if I can pull this off, but I'm certain that I'm going to try! I'm a Sarah B copycat! :)
