Faux Texan

oxford- Wrangler, thrifted
skirt- thrifted, part of a suit
belt & jewelry- thrifted
flats- Antonio Melani via Dillard's

I found this Wrangler shirt at Goodwill a couple of weeks ago. One afternoon in June, my old teaching partner and I needed some therapy that had nothing to do with school or school life. So, she stayed with me for a night and we went thrifting. When I picked this shirt out, she told me I shouldn't get it (thanks, Sarah). Luckily, I didn't listen to her, because I love love love this shirt! I like pretty much anything Wrangler, so it was a guaranteed like for me.

To go along with my Wrangler shirt, my hair decided to be extra large today. We'll call it "Texas Hair". Speaking of Texas, I feel a little Kendi in this outfit.

  1. As a Texas resident I totally approve!!

  2. This outfit is so cute! I love the red with the chambray.

  3. What a great post! Just came across your blog and fell in love with it immediately! You have amazing sense of style!!!
Check out my blog and follow if you like it, I will do the same in return!
    Hope to see you soon!

  4. Hey Sarah,

You are rocking the Wrangler -- I love it! You should consider submitting it to The Wear To Go Girls "Look of the Week" on their FB Page. Check it out here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Wear-to-go-Girls/138631736207424 -- there's tons of inspiration!

    Much love.

  5. Loving how cool and casual this look is, that thrifted Wrangler top is magic. Between you and Elaine of Clothed Much, I need to get my hands on a red skirt!

  6. It's a good thing you didn't listen to her. That shirt is super cute and you have inspired me to wear my jean button down with my red skirt :)

  7. I love ALL your looks! Great style! I am following you!

    xoxo Denise
